In this session, we will discuss how to ask for a letter of recommendation (or reference) when applying to jobs, internships, scholarships and other opportunities.

We will talk about one of the most important factors - when is the best time to ask for the letter.

By the end of this workshop you will know:
  1. When is the most appropriate time to ask for a letter of recommendation.
  2. How to identify who to ask to write a recommendation/reference letter.
  3. How to build strong connections to faculty and campus administrators and staff.
  4. What makes a good recommendation.
