Position: Appraisal Procurement Processing Intern

Reports to: Appraisal Procurement Supervisor

Description: It is the responsibility of the person in this position to assist in the assigning and review of new appraisals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone inquiries from different mortgage departments as well as Appraisers, brokers, & customers.
  • Assist with all duties pertaining to appraisals
  • Assignment of appraisal orders
  • Appraisal reviews/Annual desk reviews
  • Appraisal/Inspection payment process
  • Commercial proposals/Fee quote requests
  • Run daily outstanding appraisal reports for status updates/follow-ups
  • Maintain up-to-date records of Appraiser Licenses and Insurances


The internships are paid, $20 per hour, working 20–25 hours per week, and they are in person, mostly at our Main Office located at 56-18 69th Street Maspeth NY 11378, or the Loan Center located at 56-05 69th Street, Maspeth NY 11378. If they apply for the Retail Bank Teller position they could be placed in any one of our 6 branch locations throughout the area.

Special Skills & Requirements


Applicants must have good interpersonal and telephone communication skills, be detail oriented, have good typing skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel programs.
