IT Intern position- F/T & P/T

Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems including but not limited to:


  • Update printer firmware
  • Install antivirus on staff computers
  • Provide technical support for laptops and tablets 
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose, and repair
  • Set up technical support for mobile unit van
  • Troubleshoot technical problems with our phone system/phone app
  • Virtual assistance with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support to the team/departments
  • Organize and maintain IT resources
  • Utilize tools such as tone generator and wire crimper
  • Research and assist with new IT cybersecurity 
  • Equipment inventory
  • Assist in project management processes including creating project plans and status reports, tracking changes and action items, and following up on project-related tasks
  • Research best practices and identify an optimal path forward for new system development
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Office
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Work with organizational partners to elicit, articulate, and document requirements that capture organization needs.
  • Identify, understand, and manage obstacles to achieving business results to ensure mitigation activities are taking place
  • Participate in the discussion and decisions regarding project methodology, processes and technology solutions
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes and apply knowledge cross functionally
