Description

QNS.com, the online home of the Queens Courier, Ridgewood Times and TimesLedger Newspapers is seeking an editorial intern.

The internship would require students to complete weekly tasks for our print publications, such as from compiling obituaries and police blotters, among other assignments. Additional work includes researching pitching story ideas to the editors,  completing writing assignments and working with our reporters to gain some hands-on experience.

Internships are generally around 20 hours per week. Interns can work remotely, but may be expected to complete assignments out in the field as well.

Candidates will possess good communication skills, a basic understanding of journalism and a desire to learn.
