Justice Now! Club

Our Purpose:

Justice Now! Club invites system-impacted students, as well as members of the Queensborough Community College community who are interested in advocating for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated persons' access to education, and who are eager to learn more about this subject. The goal of the Club is to promote human rights and support the ideas presented in the UN Charter for Human Rights that every person deserves dignity and respect and that "we are all part of the human family."

We provide a supportive space for the system-impacted students and students with system-impacted family members, and generate awareness around system-impacted students and students with system-impacted family members in our community. Club activities will help students gain valuable experience applicable to many areas of social-justice related work, such as Public Policy Studies, Social Work, Legal Studies, Human Rights, Education, International Development, and more.
