Student Survey Content Areas

The National Assessment of Collegiate Campus Climates (NACCC) is a quantitative survey on campus racial climates created by the University of Southern California’s Race and Equity Center.  The survey was administered to students from September 28-October 26, 2021 and assessed students’ perceptions regarding six content areas:

  • mattering and affirmation
  • cross-racial engagement
  • encounters with racial stress
  • racial learning and literacy
  • appraisal of institutional commitment
  • impact of external environments

In summer 2022, USC provided Queensborough a customized report with aggregated data, an NACCC Climate Score and, most importantly, recommendations for making our campus more welcoming and inclusive. Survey results will be shared broadly with our community during Fall 2022.
