Edge for Success Campaign
As a public, two-year degree granting institution of higher education, Queensborough provides students with the education and skills they need to become contributing and productive members of our society. Our students not only live locally, but upon graduation, become part of the greater NYC local workforce and our local community.
Queensborough has been a turning point in the lives of over 67,000 alumni who have graduated from the college since its founding in 1959 – helping them realize their potential and giving them the confidence to follow their own unique path toward success.
The Edge for Success Campaign provides an enriched learning environment, scholarships and awards to hardworking and ambitious Queensborough students. By investing in the Edge for Success Campaign you give QCC students an extra edge so they can access, attend and complete college, pursue a rewarding career and become contributing, productive citizens. Over 60% of QCC students transfer to a four-year college after earning their Associate degree, while others obtain the necessary skills for career advancement.
Contributions to The Edge for Success Campaign support the College in the following ways:
-
Help students complete their college degree in a timely manner;
-
Create an enriched learning environment through the support of the Kupferberg Holocaust Center (KHC), QCC Art Gallery, and Queensborough Performing Arts Center (QPAC);
-
Strengthen the College's faculty through professional development and research opportunities;
-
Set an example for future alumni and community members through your philanthropy.
