LGBTQ+ Faculty Staff Association

Mission Statement

Queensborough Community College’s LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff Association supports resources and community geared towards the enrichment and empowerment of LGBTQ+ faculty, staff, and students. We advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion related to gender identity, sexual orientation, and gender expression. To accomplish this, we seek to:

  1. Foster communication between staff, administration, students, and faculty on LGBTQ+ issues.
  2. Provide opportunities for interaction, education, and coalition building among members and the broader QCC/CUNY community.
  3. Provide safe spaces to help to support a strong LGBTQ+ community.
