Course Description in college catalog:
A small vocal ensemble which rehearses and performs music in popular styles - jazz, pop, and musical theater. Pop Choir presents concerts at QCC and nearby community centers.

10 points per performances and dress rehearsals: See schedule below for dates, times and places — bold type means NOT NORMAL DAYS, TIMES, or PLACES
You are graded for being on time, music in three-ring black binder, dressed as instructed for performances, performing to set standards.
Attendance – 30%
2 points possible per class:
Be on time, stay to end of class.
Preparation/ participation – 30%
2 points possible each week:
Have music in binder, have pencil, participate fully and respectfully of process and others (1 point each week). Practice two times a week, 10 minutes each time, your part on blackboard at “Hear Our Music/Practice Your Part.” Blackboard keeps track of practice time (1 point each week).
