SoftChalk Cloud

SoftChalk Cloud Logo

SoftChalk Cloud is a program used to build interactive web sites that are fun, easy to create and will keep your students engaged. It also integrates seamlessly with the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) via the LTI interface. This allows Instructors and students to easily access SoftChalk from within their Blackboard course with a single logon. SoftChalk is also able to access the Blackboard Grade Center allowing instructors to easily store student’s grades in a single repository, the Blackboard grade center.

Creating and Logging into SoftChalk Cloud account 

  1. Open a Chrome or Firefox browser and navigate to the SoftChalk cloud home page.
  2. If you already have a SoftChalk Cloud account, click on login in the upper right corner of the Softchalkcloud home page and enter your credentials to login or click on Join Now on the login page to create your account. (please use your QCC email when registering for your new account)
  3. To obtain the activation key to complete the registration process, please contact us via email at BBSupport@qcc.cuny.edu or call us at 718-281-5540.

Installing the SoftChalk cloud Create Application

  1. Open a Chrome or Firefox browser and navigate to SoftChalk cloud app installation page and follow the directions to install the appropiate SoftChalk cloud create application for your machine and operating system.
