Sexual and Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Response Course (“SPARC”)

CUNY has implemented SPARC to provide students with ongoing education and training for the prevention, identification, and reporting of sexual misconduct, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, sexual harassment, gender-based harassment, and sexual violence, as required by New York State Education Law Article 129-B.

New Students (Freshmen, Transfers, and ST100)

  • For all technology issues (students cannot see SPARC in Blackboard, students completed SPARC but it is still in their "To Do List" on CUNYfirst, SPARC is listed multiple times in their "To Do List," etc.) contact Jennifer Klein at jklein@qcc.cuny.edu.

  • New students requiring confirmation that they have completed SPARC should also contact Jennifer Klein.

Returning Students in Specific Groups (Athletes, SGA, Club Officers, International Students, Study Abroad, and students going on overnight trips)
