Amounts can change yearly. The maximum NSF S-STEM Scholarship is $5,000 each semester for up to 2 years.


Eligibility Criteria:

1) Major in Computer Science at Queens College
2) Must have earned a minimum 3.0 GPA
3) Low-income status (a zero or low expected family contribution on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and evidence of unmet financial need.
4) Historically underrepresented in STEM (women, minorities, etc)
5) U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.
6) A Community College student with an Associate degree who transfers in to Queens College (with priority to LaGuardia Community College and Queensborough Community College students).
