Eligibility Criteria:
- Students in the program are typically among the first generation in their family to attend college and are highly motivated academically, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Applicants must be actively enrolled at an accredited community college.
- Applicants should have completed or be on track to complete at least 24 credit hours of coursework by the end of the date specified on the website.
- Students must have completed English 101, or its equivalent.
- Priority applicants will be those students who have completed less than four semesters of community college work by the date specified on the website.
- Students must be available to attend orientation on date specified
Selection Criteria:
- This is a highly selective program.
Application Materials/Process:
- Students must complete the application by the due date specified
- Official transcript required
- Submit 2 essays
- Provide 2 letters of recommendation
Additional Benefits:
- Students are in residence for the length of the program.
- Each accepted student receives a scholarship to the Exploring Transfer program that completely covers their tuition, room, three meals per day, books, notebooks and class materials.
