  1. Review and approved Committee Meeting Minutes from 12/10/20

The Committee on Academic Development reviewed:

  1. Evaluation forms:
  • Most faculty was not able to open or review the updated copy of the evaluation forms.
  • Faculty did not receive response from the evaluation forms back from department yet.
  • Faculty senate approved “not applicable” feature on evaluation forms for Fall 2020.
  • ADC and E-Learning committee must justify why we would like some questions to be changed/adjusted by showing the results of faculty opinion. Questions should not be unfavorable to faculty and should be conducive to asynchronous & synchronous classes. Both committees should come together with a list of suggested questions and add it to the bottom of the original evaluation survey. Both committees will come together to choose from the list of suggested questions and create a tentative evaluation form. Faculty should be able to view the original questions and select which are applicable or not applicable. They can also review the suggested new questions from each committee and select which would be most helpful on the evaluation form.
  • Updated survey must be sent out before the end of February to ensure that they are available in March for faculty review.
  1. Discuss our next workshop.
  • Decided to do an event series of seminars instead of a workshop.
  • Seminar should be for Faculty only (not students)

Meeting adjourned 1:10pm

Respectfully submitted,
