The Academic Senate Committee on Committee on Budget Advisement met on Wednesday, May 13, 2020


Committee Members in Attendance:

  • One (1) representative from the Steering Committee of the Academic Senate: Jannette A. Urciuoli,
  • One (1) representative from the Budget Committee of the College Personnel and Budget Committee/Committee of Chairs: David Lieberman
  • One (1) representative from the Faculty Executive Committee: Philip Pecorino
  • One (1) representative from Student Government, absent

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m.

  3. Review City University Budget Office Third Quarter Report
  4. Review of report of Prof. Ned Benton, FGL from John Jay College on the current budget situation He is on the UFS Budget Advisory Committee that meets with CUNY officials.
  5. Review of current version of FY2020-2021 College Financial Plan in a report from College's chief officer for Finance and Administration: Vice President Sherri Newcomb
  6. Any changes to the final FY2021 College Financial Plan
  7. Any changes to the FY2021 Initial Budget Allocation for QCC
  8. Times for the meetings of the committee each year in Oakland Loggia at 4pm or by ZOOM
