The Academic Senate Committee on Curriculum met on February 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm online via Blackboard Collaborate

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM

  1. The minutes of the December 15, 2020 meeting were approved by the committee. 

  2. The committee discussed the proposal for the program revision of the A.S. in Health Sciences” with members of the Department of Biological Sciences & Geology. No vote was taken at this time.

  3. The committee discussed the proposal for the new course TH-900: “Independent Study in Theater” from the Department of Speech Communication & Theater Arts. No vote was taken at this time.

  4. The committee discussed the proposal for the new course EDUC-240: “Middle Childhood and Adolescent Learning and Development” from the Department of Social Sciences. After discussing the proposal, the committee voted, and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:37 PM.
