The Academic Senate Committee on CURRICULUM COMMITTEE met on March 26, 2019 at 2:10 pm in H-239

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:10 PM

  1. The minutes of the March 19, 2019 meeting were approved by the committee. 
  1. Kathleen Villani, Chair of the Business Department, presented proposals for the department. 
  1. The committee considered the proposed course revision for BU-111: “Computer Applications in Accounting.” After discussing the proposal, the committee voted and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present. 
  1. The committee considered the proposed program revision of the A.S. Degree in Management. After discussing the proposal, the committee voted and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present. 
  1. Punita Bhansali, of the Department of Biological Science and Geology, presented proposals for the department. 
  1. The committee considered the proposed course revisions for:

    BI-340 Assisting in the Medical Office: Clinical Testing Procedures
    BI-341 Assisting in the Medical Office: Medical Assisting Procedures
    BI-451 Phlebotomy Technology
    BI-961 Phlebotomy Practice

    After discussing the proposals, the committee voted and the proposals were approved unanimously by those present. 

The meeting was adjourned at 3:30 PM.
