The Academic Senate Committee on Curriculum met on September 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm online via Blackboard Collaborate

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:10 PM

  1. The minutes of the May 4, 2021 meeting were approved by the committee. 

  2. The committee welcomed Dr. Margot Edlin, Chair of the English Department. A discussion ensued regarding removal of ENGL-103: Writing for New Media, which has not been taught for some time, from programs in which ENGL-101 is also an option. There was no vote; these changes will be made in the next course catalog.

  3. The committee discussed the Annual Letter to Chairs and plans for the upcoming year.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:40 PM.
