The Academic Senate Committee on Curriculum met on October 27, 2020 at 2:00 pm online via Blackboard Collaborate

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM

  1. The minutes of the October 20, 2020 meeting were approved by the committee.

  2. The committee discussed the new courses MA-136: “Introductory Statistics” and MA-136ALP: “Introductory Statistics - Corequisite Course” from the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science. After discussing the proposal, the committee voted, and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.

  3. The committee considered the course revision of CS-100: “Introduction to Computers and Programming” from the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science. The committee discussed the proposal but did not vote.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:20 PM.
