The Academic Senate Committee on Curriculum met on November 15, 2022 at 2:10 pm in S-220 and online via Blackboard Collaborate


Committee Members in Attendance:

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:10 PM

  1. The minutes of the October 25, 2022 meeting were approved by the committee. 

  2. The committee welcomed Emily Berry and Nicole McClam of the Health, Physical Education, and Dance Department to discuss proposals for the department.

  3. The committee discussed the proposed new courses:

    DAN-223 Intermediate Modern Dance IV
    DAN-233 Intermediate Ballet IV

    After discussing the proposals, the committee voted, and the proposals were approved unanimously by those present.

  4. The committee discussed the proposed course revisions of the following:  

    DAN-111 Introduction to the Art of Dance
    DAN-249 Dance Improvisation 

    After discussing the proposals, the committee voted, and the proposals were approved unanimously by those present.


    The meeting was adjourned at 3:10 PM.
