The Academic Senate Committee on CURRICULUM COMMITTEE met on December 10, 2019 at 2:10 pm in S-415

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:10 PM

  1. The minutes of the November 26, 2019 meeting were approved by the committee.

  2. Kathleen Wentrack, Chair of the Department of Art & Design, presented courses for the department. 
  1. The committee discussed courses for the Department of Art & Design but did not vote. 
  1. A large number of course changes are expected due to changes in prerequisites from CUNY’s phasing out of developmental courses in English and Mathematics in favor of corequisite developmental courses linked to credit courses. The committee discussed ways in which the process of submitting courses changes could be simplified for this process only.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:00 PM.
