  • Review of February 13th , 2020 minutes

    • Tech fee meeting: Scheduled for March 17th (3-4:30pm)
    •  Extending online instruction at QCC: Updates from Shiang-Kwei
  • Subcommittee reports/plans/changes/additions:
    • Marketing of online courses (Gene Desepoli & Peter Novick )
      • (committee newsletter; design and implement a marketing campaign at QCC for higher recognition of online courses)
      • Include eLearning guidelines, new eLearning webpage link, and information about peer evaluations in the PSC contract. Possibly interviews with faculty.
    • Professional Development lunch seminars for online faculty (Susan Lago & )
      • (coordinate, promote, and run informal but informative meetings for QCC faculty who are interested in online education)
      • Any presenters?
    • Guidelines and Standards for eLearning at QCC ( Denis Bejar, Peter Novick, )
      • (work with CETL/OET to devise standards/policies for eLearning at QCC to be formally adopted by the Senate)
      • Revise the guidelines to reflect the changes in peer evaluation and student evaluations
      • Inclusion of any statement about grading
  • New business
    • Revising the Course Evaluation Forms (Zeynep Akcay Ozkan, Denis Bejar, )
  • Discussion of proposed form which made available to committee members online
