The Academic Senate Committee on Library Committee met on Feb 27 2019 LB 224

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 12.30pm

Approval of Minutes

Minutes from November 2018 meeting approved with minor changes.

Bathroom Compliance

Professor Agnieszka Tuszynska received a response from Bill Faulkner that capital funding has been requested to fund the ADA compliant bathrooms. The architecture drawing has been approved and scheduled to begin in 2021. Currently, LB-16 is in the process of renovating this bathroom. The Committee would be inquiring on the number of students with wheelchairs are on campus.

Report on STEAM labs

Professor Angela Ridinger-Dotterman will be reaching out to the chair of the Engineering Technology department in search of any possible collaboration and support on STEAM labs.

Next meeting scheduled for April 3rd.
