**Two sequential courses are required, with the level and sequence of courses to be determined by Foreign Languages & Literature department placement. Spanish language courses are highly recommended.

***If already taken in common core, one course from HIST-100 series is recommended; if two History courses have been taken in common core, one Social Science course from Anthropology, CRIM-101 or CRIM-205, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, or Psychology is recommended. Equivalent or elective credit will be granted as appropriate.

  1. 100-level Spanish courses taken at QCC or York do not count toward the B.A. in Spanish and must be taken in addition to the degree requirements listed above.
  2. These credits may be applied toward a minor or second major at York College.
  3. Students transferring to York College must complete at least 40 credits in residence at York, with at least half of the credits in the major program taken at York College.
  4. A minimum of 56 credits must be completed at York College to graduate with honors.
  5. For the Bachelor of Arts degree, 90 credits of Liberal Arts are required. An overall GPA of 2.0 at York is required to graduate.
