  • Degree Requirement: Completed Associate of Science degree (AS) in Film and Media Production at QCC
  • Minimum CUM GPA: 2.0
  • Audition/Portfolio: Not applicable

Notes:

  • Students must complete the A.S. degree in Film and Media Production at QCC and be accepted for transfer admission to Brooklyn College.  
  • Upon transfer, students must declare a major in Film.
  • Students must have received a grade of C or better in courses that are required for the Film major in order to receive transfer credit.
  • Film majors who are enrolled in the concentration in film production must complete a minimum of 21 credits in the Department of Film at Brooklyn College.  Of these, six credits must be in the area of film studies (film courses numbered 2100 through 2199, 3100 through 3199, and 4100 through 4199).  
  • Film majors who are enrolled in a concentration other than film production must complete 18 credits in the Department of Film at Brooklyn College.  Of these, six credits must be in the area of film studies.

Additional Notes: All students must successfully complete two (2) writing-intensive classes (designated "WI") at Queensborough Community College to fulfill degree requirements.
