Course Description in college catalog:

The techniques of touch typewriting/keyboarding are introduced. Students develop the ability to format letters, tables, memoranda, and reports. They learn how to follow instructions and acquire good work habits. Emphasis is on accuracy, speed, and aesthetic arrangement of material used in office situations.

2. Develop keyboarding speed and accuracy skills.

3. Format business letters, memorandums, reports and tables

4. Evaluate end-of-line software decisions

5. Apply rules for writing numbers

6. Proofread and correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors

7. Complete and submit assignments meeting deadlines

8. Realize the importance of good work habits (attendance and punctuality)
