Business:

The meeting was called to order at 12:10 PM

  1. Approval of agenda, Approved without objections.
  2. Approval of minutes from February 17th, 2021. Approved without objections.
  3. What we want to do as a Committee.
    1. What have we done: Need to update rubric based on new template.
    2. What we want to achieve: Establish a cycle of teaching, non-teaching reports, and program reviews.
    3. Where we will focus our efforts: Looking at the academic program review schedule, the Committee can look at the status of the reviews as well as the comprehensiveness of each review.
    4. Amos presented a pdf he prepared.
    5. We will also discuss our upcoming Middle States self-study (which will undoubtedly pay more attention to our operationalizing assessment) with the Steering Committee. Does the Senate need to spark more interest in assessment as a whole, or is that the job of the committee?
