The Academic Senate Committee on Bylaws met on February 8, 2023 at 12:00 p.m., by Zoom

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 12:00 p.m.

 

  • Approval of Bylaws Committee proposal of using Microsoft Teams as a teamwork and collaboration platform for replacing committee meetings.

 

  • Business is being conducted as agreed through Microsoft Teams platform.

 

  • Committee will have a zoom conference call once a month for an informal Q and A session to complement Committee work and to answer questions related to Teams, including documents, actions, and activity. Dates: TBA

 

  • Approval of Bylaws Committee meeting minutes of 9/21/22

 

  • Approval of Bylaws Committee Activity Database

 

  • Agreement to review and revise the Bylaws Committee Guide Addendum in the Bylaws Committee Guide Addendum folder in Files. The projected date for completion is May 2023.

 

  • Changes in Addendum will be monitored with comments and “track changes” function

 

  • Addendum Draft "BylawsCommitteeGuideAddenum_221112.docx" in the Bylaws Committee Guide Addendum folder in Files. The draft has been put together based on the recommendations of committee members after their review of the Bylaws Committee Guide dated 4/22/2007 last year. The guide with recommended changes is found in "GUIDE-Com-Bylaws-4-28-07_Revised_210313.docx" in the same folder.
