The Academic Senate Committee on Bylaws met on Wednesday, February 13th, 2019, 1 pm, Humanities 458


Committee Members in Attendance:

Liza Larios (President’s Designee), Urszula Golobiewska, Sebastian Murolo (Chair), Richard Micieli, William J. Ryan (secretary)


Business:

The meeting was called to order at 1 pm

  • Susan Jacobowitz (Steering Committee Designee) was attending an English Department P&B Committee Meeting
  • Shahadat Hossain was attending a Department Meeting

The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.

The committee discussed a change in the bylaws regarding the administration of the college food pantry. The committee reviewed the changes and the rationale for said changes. Following discussion, the committee agreed to table the changes for further consideration following consultation with interested parties, particularly the Committee on Food Insecurity.

The committee then briefly discussed members’ status regarding upcoming committee appointments as well as their intentions to serve on the committee again.

No new business was discussed.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:30 p.m.
