The Academic Senate Committee on Bylaws met on Wednesday, November 21st, 2018, 1 pm, Humanities 458


Committee Members in Attendance:

Susan Jacobowitz (Steering Committee Designee), Urszula Golobiewska, Sebastian Murolo (Chair), Richard Mocieli, Franca Ferrari, William J. Ryan (secretary)


Business:

The meeting was called to order at 1 pm

The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.

The current agenda was approved.

The committed discussed a change in the bylaws regarding the college president’s role in convening meetings of the academic senate. The committee voted to unanimously approve the proposed changes.

The committee then discussed working a project editing the bylaws for clarity and correctness. The project was tabled for consideration in the Spring semester 2019.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
