The Academic Senate Committee on Publications met on Fridayday, October 28, 2023, 12:00 PM-1:30 PM, via Zoom

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 12:00 pm

 

 

  1. Suggestions sent to Academic Senate from Annual report have not been approved by the Senate yet.
  2. Discussion of the QCC website update process:
    1. Who is responsible (a list of faculty/staff for each department exists but might not be updated)
  3. Discussion of the Governance page – Publication committee members should look at the page and provide comments during following meeting. Follow up on governance survey
  4. Adam Volin discussed the overhaul of the Continuing education website – this will be a testbed for updating the College’s website in the future.
  5. Sections added to our committees website without our approval: Was this done by the Senate? – Chairperson will investigate.
