Committee On Student Activities

Committee Guide Addendum

The committee on student activities acts as a liaison between the SGA, the office of Student Activities and the Faculty.  Our main roll is the facilitate communication between all parties and assist the promotion and communication regarding available student activities and events.

The committee meets once per month during the semester. At this meeting the office of student activities is invited to give guidance and updates on current student events and activities.

A representative of the committee, primarily the chair,  attends a SGA meeting once per semester to build a working relationship with the current student government and offer assistance from the faculty.

Each year the committee organizes an annual volunteer fair where we bring in local community organizations that have volunteer opportunities for the faculty and staff to participate in.
