The meeting was called to order at 12:30pm

  1. Discussion and Approval of Agenda
  2. Discussion and Approval of Minutes from the September 10, 2021 meeting
  3. WI Co-Coordinators Training update presented by Melissa Dennihy & Monica Rossi-Miller
    • Update on anti-racist curriculum guidelines
    • Discussion of equity charge initiated under President Mangino
    • Melissa Dennihy gave an update on the training of WI Co-Coordinators
    • Discussed offering Writing-Intensive classes in other languages
  4. Activity since last meeting:
    • Student waivers received and anticipated
    • Reaffirmation of committee charge to review student waivers
    • Report on faculty recertification
      1. Report on faculty contacted for recertification
      2. Discussion of recertification efforts, Spring 2022
    • Reviewed and edited WI Recertifications checklist
    • Discussion of student representative to the Writing-Intensive Committee
    • Update on the WID-WAC website
    • Update on coordination efforts carried out by the WIDWAC committee, the WI coordinators, CTAS, and the Composition Committee
  5. New business
    • Discussed meeting times for Spring 2022
